Been Frustrated With Your Double Chin?
Kybella® May Be The Permanent Solution to the Profile You’ve Always Wanted.
Double Chin Solution
With the increase in social media, more people have realized that they strongly dislike the appearance of their profile-specifically their full chin and neck. Submental fullness often results from a genetic propensity, aging, weight gain or a combination of these contributing factors.
In the past, the only way to address a double chin called submental fullness was liposuction (removal of fat) or surgery. Finally, Kybella® may be your answer to permanently reduce that unwanted fullness with no cutting, bleeding, or sutures.
What is Kybella®?
Kybella is a non-surgical, non-invasive injection of synthetic Deoxchloric acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. Kybella® destroys fat cells which results in a noticeable reduction of fullness under the chin. The cells are destroyed over a series of Kybella® treatments one month apart, can no longer store or accumulate fat yielding a long-lasting result for a tighter, leaner looking jawline and profile.

How is Kybella® Administered?
Kybella® should be injected by a licensed and trained healthcare professional to adults only to safely and effectively treat fat outside the submental area. Your healthcare professional will administer small injections under your chin after using a grid to determine the desired treatment area for the injections to get the optimal results. Each treatment typically takes between 30 minutes to an hour in total including time for use of topical anesthetic.
How Many Kybella® Treatment Sessions Will I Need?
Your treatment goals and the amount of submental fat will influence the number or treatment sessions needed. During your initial consult, your healthcare practitioner and you will review your desired profile goals to tailor a treatment plan. After multiple treatments of Kybella® at least one month apart, most patients begin to see improvement in the reduction of your under chin fat. In clinical studies, 59% of patients received 6 treatments. Best practice dictates no more six treatments be given to a patient.
What is the Recovery Time?
Patients who undergo a Kybella® treatment usually experience some swelling, bruising or numbness in the treated area under your chin for the first week. It is important to alert your provider if you develop an uneven smile, facial muscle weakness, difficulty swallowing or injection site problems (redness), hair loss, or open sores (ulcers). Although these side effects are not common, they can occur and require the attention of your healthcare provider.
How Much Does Kybella Cost?
The cost of Kybella® injections depends on the number of vials used to administer the customized treatment plan you and your practitioner agree on. Your Enhance practitioner will develop a Kybella tailored treatment quote for you at the time of your initial consult.
